New years eve with Max, Isa & baby Arthur

Just after Christmas we met up with one of Romain's best mates, Max, and his wife Isa and found out that they had kept a huge surprise from us... the arrival of little Arthur! All of our friends in France were in on the secret and managed to keep this secret from us throughout the entire pregnancy! Needless to say we had some catching up to do with these 3... so we travelled to Ile d'Oléron where Isa's parents have a beach house to celebrate new years eve together... yes, why not the beach in the middle of winter? Ile d'Oléron is an island just off the coast from La Rochelle, connected to the main land by bridge.
